Don "Powerhouse" Paul blasts a pitch down the third base line for a RBI double in game two of the Miners' doubleheader versus Upstate. Paul went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs in Lumpkin's game two matchup with Upstate.

LC Miners infielder “In” Vince “Able” Adams blasts a pitch over the fence for a home run against the Franklin Old Bones. Adams had a perfect day at the plate, going 7-for-7 with eight RBIs in the lead-off spot for the Miners.

Last season at this time the LCHS football team was hard at work practicing with helmets and pads in preparation for the season, but with the GHSA not adding any additional changes to its coronavirus guidelines last week the Indians are still unable to utilize helmets, shoulder pads and knee or thigh pads during its 7-on-7 scrimmages.

Who is that masked man? Wayne “Got Em” Gaddis helped the LC Miners split their league doubleheader with the Hendersonville Sluggers last week to keep the team in the top spot in the league standings. Gaddis went 5-for-6 with five RBIS in the two-game set.
