NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Housing Authority of the City of Dahlonega has developed its Five Year Public Housing Agency Plan in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Dahlonega Housing Authority will conduct a Public Hearing December 30, 2019, at 11:00 in the Community Room of the Main Office located at 90 Thompson Circle, Dahlonega, Ga. 30533.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the progress of the 5 Year Agency Plan through submission of its Annual Agency Plan (for year 2020) and to invite public comment regarding the plan.

A draft copy of the plan is available for review prior to the meeting at the above address. The Housing Authority hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Telephone 706-864-3758.

The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Boardroom of the Administration Building located at 99 Courthouse Hill Rd, Dahlonega, GA. The public hearing will be held at 5:00 PM on December 3, 2019.

The purpose of the public hearing is to present an overview and receive comments regarding revisions to the Lumpkin County Land Use Regulations, Chapter 27, Sec. 27-58 - Gateway Corridor Regulations, and inclusion of Design Guidelines. The public is encouraged to attend.
