LCHS girls basketball improves to 8-5

The LCHS varsity girls basketball team bounced back from a disappointing loss to region rival Dawson County by pulling out a big non conference win over Banks County to improve to 8-5 overall when they stepped onto the hardwood last week.

The LCHS varsity boys basketball team displayed fight, grit and tenacity last week when the Indians battled it out with Dawson County before pulling out a stunning upset of Banks County to improve their overall record to 5-8.

The LCHS rifle team improved to 2-1 on the season when the Indians defeated Roswell High School at the LCHS Hunting Grounds rifle range on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the team’s first competition after the holiday break.
