Football team unable to battle back against Banks

While the Indians went into Friday’s game hoping to end their school-record 18-game losing streak against Banks County, they instead settled on a different bit of history.

Boys cross country earns third place at North Hall Invitational

The LCHS Cross Country teams turned in another strong performance at the North Hall Invitational, with the boys team claiming third place overall while the girls team finished sixth. Coming into the season, head coach Logan Turner said he felt his teams were ready to make a statement in the region.

Lumpkin middle school softball tops White County

After giving up two runs in the top of the first inning, the LCMS softball team took back control of its game against White County in a very big way, plating nine runs in the bottom half of the first on the way to a 18-3 victory in three innings over the Warriors.

Middle School boys earn first place in home cross-country meet

After a successful first meet of the season, the LCMS Cross Country team got to show off at its home meet last Wednesday, with the boys team claiming first place once again.

Volleyball tops Chestatee then falls to White County

After a comeback win against Chestatee High School to begin the night and a dominant first set and a half against White County, it seemed to be smooth sailing to a sweep for the LCHS Volleyball. And then suddenly, it wasn’t.

The second annual University of North Georgia’s Tennis Pro-Am wrapped up over the weekend in perfect weather, with 16 men and 10 women joining UNG tennis players in friendly competition, to support the tennis program.

Softball team won’t be stopped by tough start to season

Taking on a crucial week that saw the Indians do battle in four region games, the LCHS Softball team split the week 2-2, ending the stretch with an emphatic 8-2 win over Gilmer County to get back on track.

On a night where few things went right for the Indians, late in the game the team received one lucky bounce that made for a wholesome moment of celebration.

Despite falling to the Raiders in straight sets, the Indians proved competitive with the AAAAAAA team, playing some of their best volleyball of the season in the match.
