The LCMS Boys Cross Country team claimed a ninth place finish in the state with their performance at the Georgia Middle School State Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

The LCHS Volleyball team celebrated its two seniors, Reagan Spivey and Kiersta Trammell on Tuesday, before winning its Senior night game against Rabun County. The team also celebrated Trammell, who recently scored her 1500th assist in her time at Lumpkin as the team’s setter.

The LCMS Boys Cross Country team continued its undefeated season, winning its last two meets at Fannin and White County, leading up to the Region Championship on Tuesday.

Lumpkin’s Averie Jones goes up for a spike in a recent game. Head coach Haley Dibble mentioned Jones as a key player in the last week of play, often coming “out of nowhere to save the ball.”
