Lumpkin volleyball team earns 3-1 record last week

Taking the lessons learned versus tough competition in its first week of the season, the Lumpkin varsity volleyball team found the answers they needed on the court to record a 3-1 record last week improving their overall record to 5-7.

Softball team wins home opener, then hits tough stretch

After bouncing back from its season opening loss to White County with a win in its home opener, the LCHS varsity softball team suffered three consecutive losses to Pickens County, Parkview and Peachtree Ridge to start the 2019 season with a 1-4 overall record.

Lady Indians begin volleyball season

The start of the 2019 volleyball season didn’t go as LCHS head volleyball coach Haley Dibble or her players had planned when the Lady Indians went 2-6 last week.
The Gold Rush 12U travel softball team completed its first season with runner-up honors at the Georgia World Series held in Toccoa recently. The team, made up of Lumpkin and Dawson county players, also won the Champions of Georgia State tournament in its inaugural season.
