The Senior Class took home the title of Powderpuff Champions after sweeping the competition in dominant fashion on Thursday. The team dominated the Sophomores in Game One before beating the Juniors in the Championship.

Mercades Houseman, Elizabeth Walker, Kaylee Caldwell and Aniya Persaud of the Lumpkin 4x100 relay team set a school-record 50.84 second finish at Sectionals. The performance also put the 4x100 team in the State Finals for the first time in nearly three decades.

LCHS Senior Sarah Hunsinger finished her golf career strong, leading the Indians with a team low 110 in the Area Tournament, which landed her 14th overall.

LCHS Senior Jared Hoch provided a leadership role for the Indians through his play on the court as No. 1 singles as well as in the way he cheered on his teammates from the sidelines.
