LCHS Softball head coach Joseph Jones and his coaching staff held a camp last week for elementary school aged softball players to come hone their skills and most importantly, develop a love for the sport of softball.

Recent Lumpkin graduate Chloe Carver signed with Montreat College to be a part of the school’s first ever women’s wrestling team. Carver was a mainstay with Lumpkin for three years, wrestling against both boys and girls, helping to build the girls wrestling program at Lumpkin. Now she looks to do the same as a part of Montreat’s first recruiting class of women wrestlers.
