Soccer teams celebrate Senior Night with wins

Lumpkin baseball kept the momentum rolling this week as they squared off in a series against White County.
For the second-straight season, the Lumpkin varsity girls basketball team has advanced to the Class AAA state title game.
The sharp shooting continued for the Lumpkin County High School rifle team as they won the Area Six Championship and advanced to State.
The Lumpkin varsity baseball team won their sixth-straight game last week as they began the early part of the season with several non-region contests.
The Lumpkin County High School tennis teams continued their great season as they were able to pick up a big win at home against the North Forsyth Raiders last week.
Lumpkin County Track and Field is a program on the rise.
Three years after Head Coach Will Mayfield took over the program, it has achieved much success.
Lumpkin wrestlers found success on several levels last week as they competed in USA Wrestling tournaments.
A total of 13 Lumpkin County wrestlers ventured to Macon Georgia to compete against the state’s best wrestlers for a chance to call themselves champions.
It was another successful week for Lumpkin soccer as the Lady Indians defeated Stephens County 10-1 and boys soccer shutout Lakeview Academy and Stephens County last week.
