Honey business brings joy to local beekeeper

Eric Weller has a full-time job as a software engineer.  But he also manages up to 50 bee hives per year as part of a side business known as the “North Georgia Honey Company,” which he operates out of his home off of Garnet School Road in Dahlonega.

The Georgia Department of Transportation has thrown a proverbial bone to Lumpkin County and the City of Dahlonega in the form of a proposed double roundabout, informally known as a “dog bone” roundabout.

If the truth is really out there, then local studio Sozo Bear Films is determined to find it.  The award-winning video production company based out of Dahlonega recently completed a new online docu-series in which they delve into mysteries of the unknown and the paranormal in nearby Gilmer County.
