Smith aims to ‘be the good’ at Food Bank kitchen

CLAYTON— Feeding people is something that Inger Smith has done for over 30 years, and as the new teaching kitchen manager for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia she hopes to “be the good” as a hub of good will for the people in Rabun County and the mountain region.

From honey to wine

A local agriculture operation is venturing into the wine and mead making business. Lloyd Allison, who owns Allison’s Honey, is working on opening Tesnatee River Winery and Meadery. The business will feature a farm winery and on-site tasting room.
