For Andrew Wilson, Jethro’s started as a college business plan. Dahlonega’s newest coffee shop, which opened in late May, has gone through a few phases before becoming what it is today.
“In 2015 I wrote up a business plan for Jethro’s,” said Wilson. “I didn’t really know where it was going.

Nathan Gerrells is excited to get started in his new role as the Lumpkin County Middle School Principal. Gerrells previously taught at Long Branch Elementary, LCMS and LCHS and even attended Lumpkin County Schools as a student.

Gerrells was named as the new principal of Lumpkin County Middle School at the June Lumpkin County Board of Education meeting earlier this month. And he’s ready to get to work.

A recent Ground Penetrating Radar survey of the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega revealed surprising results as nearly 300 unmarked graves were found in the downtown graveyard just off the Public Square.
