Erick Hofstetter, currently in Paulding County, was approved as the Chief Financial Officer for Lumpkin County Schools.

The Dahlonega Visitor’s Center is getting new restrooms in the near future. At this month’s meeting the city council passed a resolution which would allow for $54,000 in funds to go towards the $100,000+ joint project which is being handled by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce.
Community members gave their comments on the final draft of the revised land plan during the May 3 Special Called meeting where the plan was unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners.
