Local law enforcement officers recently uncovered a literal underground stash of methamphetamine and other drugs while searching the property of a Dahlonega man earlier this month, according to officials with the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office.

RV park pushes for expanded plan

Plans for the DiVine Village, a high-end luxury RV resort in Lumpkin County, have been in the works since 2001. Since The Nugget’s last report in May, there have been signs of renewed momentum for the project.

New CHP Christmas ornament is ready for fundraising

The holidays have come early to Dahlonega, marked this year by the much-anticipated reveal of the newest Community Helping Place Christmas in Dahlonega Collector’s Ornament. “It’s my favorite ornament so far,” said CHP Executive Director Melissa Line last week.
