The Lumpkin County High School basketball teams continued to battle their way through regional matchups last week as they clashed with White County and Greater Atlanta Christian. The boys squad was able to move their overall standings to 17-2, and 7-1 in region play.

Girls wrestling team earns second straight Area Championship

The Lumpkin County High School wrestling teams had the opportunity to compete for the Area Championship and punch their tickets to the Dual State Championships last week.
The Lady Indians ultimately took home the grand prize, outlasting Gilmer 84-0 and Central Carrolton 60-24.

Basketball teams earn victories over Dawson and Johnson

It was a strong week for Lumpkin County High School basketball as both the boys and girls teams secured key regional victories over Dawson and Johnson.
The boys defeated Dawson 82–69 and Johnson 70–32, improving to 13–1 overall and 3–0 in region play.
