Rifle team competes in GHSA State Championship

The Lumpkin County High School Rifle Team capped its season with a strong showing at the Georgia High School Association  State Championships on March 14 and 15 at the Ware County Shooting Sports Complex in Waycross. Only 17 teams out of more than 100 qualify for the event.

Soccer teams victorious on Senior Night

It was a huge week for all things Lumpkin Soccer. Both the boys and girls High School teams were able to kick off regional competition with big wins over North Hall. The boys won a gritty game in overtime, downing the Trojans 3-1. The team improved their overall standings to 4-2.

Boys soccer earns two straight wins

A week always feels good when you can stack consecutive wins, and that’s exactly what Lumpkin County High School’s soccer team did as they rolled past East Jackson and Riverside. The Indians now sit at 3-2, with one of their early losses coming in a PK shootout against Franklin County.
