It’s not often that you get to represent your local community high school in another state. The Lady Indians Varsity wrestling team took advantage of that great opportunity this week, taking the long seven-hour drive to Mobile, Alabama, to compete in the Gulf Coast Clash.

Girls basketball takes on Tallulah and Calhoun

The Lumpkin County High School varsity girls basketball team had a busy week as they hosted Calhoun on Thursday, November 21 and Tallulah Falls on Saturday, November 23. Calhoun was a powerhouse in AAAAA last season, and ultimately made a Final Four appearance.

The new all time point record is 1,390. And Cal Faulkner owns it. That became official when the Lumpkin County High School basketball team clashed with Tallulah Falls at home on Saturday, November 23.

The Lumpkin County Boys’ High School wrestling team has worked hard over the last few weeks, competing in several different meets including the Archer Scramble, Hoya Duals at Harrison High School and a dual meet on the road against Fannin County.
