Boys basketball picks up decisive win over the Rebels

For most kids in school, Thanksgiving break means being able to stay home and enjoy the holidays, but for the Lumpkin County High School basketball team, that wasn’t exactly the case. This week, the squad competed in three separate games throughout the week.

Girls wrestling team wins Alabama tournament

It’s not often that you get to represent your local community high school in another state. The Lady Indians Varsity wrestling team took advantage of that great opportunity this week, taking the long seven-hour drive to Mobile, Alabama, to compete in the Gulf Coast Clash.

Girls basketball takes on Tallulah and Calhoun

The Lumpkin County High School varsity girls basketball team had a busy week as they hosted Calhoun on Thursday, November 21 and Tallulah Falls on Saturday, November 23.  Calhoun was a powerhouse in AAAAA last season, and ultimately made a Final Four appearance.

The Lumpkin County Boys’ High School wrestling team has worked hard over the last few weeks, competing in several different meets including the Archer Scramble, Hoya Duals at Harrison High School and a dual meet on the road against Fannin County.
