Lumpkin cross country strides into new season

The Lumpkin County High School cross country team saw a great start to their season as they competed in the North Georgia Two Mile Stage event in Commerce, Georgia on Saturday. Overall, both the boys and girls teams came away with a second-place finish.

Lumpkin softball team off to a great regular season start

It was an exciting week for all things Lumpkin County High School softball. The Lady Indians hit a hot streak as they picked up three straight victories. Their first win came 4-3 over South Forsyth in extra innings. Game Two saw The Tribe topple Rabun County 11-0.

Lumpkin softball returns to the diamond

The Lady Indians high school softball team kicked off their official season this week as they hit the road to Gilmer County. The matchup showcased two very skilled pitchers as they went head-to-head in a showdown that saw the Bobcats come out on top with a 2-0 win over the Indians.

Lumpkin softball team looks ahead to promising season

Softball fans got their first looks at the new Lumpkin County Varsity squad last week as they hosted a summertime pre-season game. The Tribe welcomed AAAA East Forsyth High School to see how the team would stack in some one-on-one competition.
