Mrs. Margaret Croy, age 85, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away surrounded by family on April 21, 2021. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late William Day and the late Katie "Aielene" Grant Day. In addition to both parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Horace Croy; children, Ernestine Croy and Joann Adams; siblings, Junior Day, Homer Day, Marvin Day, and Hugh Lee Day. She is also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Monroe Adams and Joe Adams.
She is survived by children, Lewis Croy of Gainesville, Tommy Croy of Dahlonega, and Rosa Hunter of Dahlonega; siblings, Herbert Day, and Cecil Day; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
It was Mrs. Croy's wishes to be cremated. No public services will be held.

Mr. Horace Coleman Croy, age 82, of Dahlonega passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was born in Hall County on August 14, 1938 to the late Ernest Croy and the late Maggie Mae Adams. Horace was a poultry farmer and spent any of hours at the auction house working as the auctioneer. When the workday was over, he always enjoyed playing softball at the Park & Rec. Horace was a giver, and could often times be found serving his community meals through the local food bank.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughters, Ernetine McClure and Joann Adams, as well as 4 sisters, 1 brother, and grandchildren Monroe Adams and Little Joe.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Day Croy of Dahlonega; Children, Lewis (Angie) Croy of Braselton, Tommy (Myrdine) Croy of Dahlonega, and Rosa Marie Hunter of Dahlonega; Sister, Betty Adams of Canton; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  
It was Mr. Croy's wishes to be cremated. No public services are being held at this time.
