The Lumpkin County High School Rifle team picked up another win on Tuesday, Feb. 8 over Riverside Military Academy to extend their perfect record to 8-0 on the season.
The team combined for a score of 1,136 out of a possible 1,200 points, led by sophomore Liv Lusky.
Lusky, who already qualified for state earlier in the season once again scored above the 292 point threshold that allows a shooter to qualify as an individual, with a score of 294 on Tuesday.
Fellow sophomore shooter Laura Grace Hoch shot for a new personal best with a score of 288.
Maddy Moyer, Joshua Molina and Jake Gary rounded out the Indians’ scoring five shooters with scores of 283, 271 and 269 respectively.
The team was set to face off in a matchup of undefeated teams on Tuesday against North Gwinnett. No results were available as of press time.
