Football coach hopes to rely on experienced senior class
LCHS senior lineman Ricky Hicks plows ahead for two yards and the touchdown on a crucial fourth down play during the Indians’ scrimmage against Lakeview Academy on Friday. Head Coach Caleb Sorrells said his team starts and ends with the play of his veteran line this season, as the entire starting line from last season returned to the team in 2021.
Caleb Sorrells is entering his third year as head coach at Lumpkin County High School, but sometimes, he feels more like an electrician.
