VA gift bags help spread Christmas cheer

Members of the American Legion Post 239, Vietnam Veterans of America #970  (VVA #970) Lumpkin and Dawson, Georgia Mountain Chapter Military Officers Association of America (GMCMOAA) and Tralitha Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution gathered recently to put together 150 bags to give veterans at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Atlanta a Merry Christmas. In all 30 volunteers took part. The Military Officers Association has been doing this for the past seven years.
