Lumpkin Heroes enjoy day on the diamond

    The Lumpkin Heroes were out in full-force on the baseball diamond with a fun-filled final home game at LC Parks & Rec last Wednesday.

    That includes, pictured, Luca Diamante and Kate Jackson, who await a pitch from Bob Burrell as Susan Burrell (not pictured) coaches from the backstop.

    The team, which is composed of 23 hardworking athletes, and 12 dedicated volunteers will soon close out its 11th season in style with a friendly face-off against the White County Heroes, followed by an even friendlier cookout.
