To commemorate Military Child Month this April, Lumpkin County High school adorned their ficus tree in the front lobby with a purple ribbon for each of the school’s 57 military-connected students. The ribbons were made by middle school students during the recent LCMS Community Connect Day.
The number of Lumpkin students from military families is increasing, and with that increase comes the need to allocate additional resources.
