Tavion Lawrence makes a final push for position as the last leg of the LCHS Boys 4x100 team. Lawrence anchored the Indians to a fifth place finish, just .11 seconds behind fourth place with a time of 46.62.

The Lumpkin County High School Track team competed in Cherokee Bluff’s Last Chance Invitational meet on Friday for one last tune up before heading into region this week.
With the meet set for a chance to measure up against the best in the region at the same site where the region competition will be held this Thursday and Friday, head coach Will Mayfield said the event was a crucial one.
