The Lumpkin County High School Golf teams defeated Fannin on Tuesday in a home match at Achasta Golf Course, with the boys taking the win 189-236 and the girls winning 160-169.
Sophomore Jac Chambers led the way for the boys with a low score of 46 in the round followed closely by senior Gabe Womack and sophomore Preston Cox, who both scored a 47.
Sophomores Sam Jarrard and Walter Mullinax also had qualifying scores of 49.
For the girls, it was sophomore Harper Hubbard leading the pack with a score of 51.
Freshman Nicole Sandberg had the next lowest score, shooting a 53, followed by fellow freshman Mia Avina and sophomore Lexi Pierce who each shot a 56.
