Junior Colby Craddock turned in a solid round of shooting at the match. Craddock earned the second highest score for the Indians at the competition with a score of 281.

Sophomore Megan Williamson continued to show improvement on the range with a score of 275 during the match.

The combined efforts of the Lumpkin shooters allowed the Indians to best RMA by a final score of 1,123-1,091. The score marked the best recorded by the team this season.

“We have a young team that is hungry and is working hard to increase their scores,” said LCHS rifle team head coach Ron Fugate. “I have seen a huge improvement in all five of our young guns.”

The LCHS rifle team will get back into action when they take to the range to shoot it out with the Gainesville Red Elephants at the UNG rifle range on Monday, February 18.
