Three members of the LCHS varsity girls soccer team received invites to take part in the inaugural Southeast All-American Soccer Showcase in Atlanta on June 11-13.
Reagan Spivey, Ashley Read and Hope Kenney will all get the chance to show off their soccer skills in front of rabid soccer fans and 25 different colleges and universities when they take part in the three-day event for high school and club soccer players.
“It is exciting for these players to get this opportunity,” said LCHS head girls soccer coach Don Brock. “They each brought so much to the team this year, as did so many. We have so many players that they could justify inviting. However, these three did stand out for us this year and absolutely deserve the honor.”
