Dwight Bebout Lewis
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Dwight Bebout Lewis at age 90.
Dwight was born on May 1, 1928 in Alexandria, Ohio to the parents of William and Ethel Lewis. He graduated from Bebout Chiropractic College and was a chiropractor for nearly 50 years in Albertville, Alabama. He moved to Dahlonega, Georgia in 2001 to be near his newest grandchild. Dwight had an infectious smile and loving personality. He lived his life in a Christ-like manner. He was patient, kind, and loved his family deeply. Some of his favorite passtimes included car shows, college football, high school football, as well as going to band and baton competitions to watch his grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Hufford Lewis, his parents William and Ethel Lewis, and brother Keith Lewis.
Surviving are his daughters Sherry Lewis Abbott of Marrieta, Georgia and Pam Lewis Byrne of Dahlonega, Georgia, son-in-laws Paul Abbott and Brian Byrne, grandchildren Mallory Abbott Kiepher married to Rory Kiepher, Nathan Lewis Abbott, and Courtney Shannon Byrne, as well as his great grandchild Barrett Ryan Kiepher.
A funeral service was held for Dwight in Albertville Ala.
