—High school yearbook staff overcomes obstacles

Telling the story of an entire school year is seldom an easy task.
When this year’s LCHS yearbook staff began planning the 2019-2020 yearbook last spring, they had no idea how much the theme they eventually chose would relate to the world the books are now being distributed into.
“Our theme, Revolution Leads to Evolution, is basically about students accepting challenges outside their comfort zones, an inevitable part of growing up,” Lisa O’Rear, LCHS English teacher and yearbook adviser, stated. “But who knew students would be isolated? Who knew basic daily life would become cumbersome?”
The idea came from Autumn Cleymans, an LCHS sophomore and copy editor on the yearbook staff.
