The LCHS rifle team concluded its 2019-2020 regular season with a bang last week when they toppled neighboring rival Dawson County at the start of the week and then shot a season high team score to defeat Gainesville High School to finish the week.
The Indians began the final stretch of their regular season when they hosted the Dawson County Tigers at the Indian Hunting Grounds at LCHS on Monday, Feb. 24.
Lumpkin shot well in its penultimate match of the season against the Tigers, recording a team score of 1,121. The score was enough to allow the Indians to secure a 1,121-1,067 victory over their neighboring rivals.
Lumpkin’s Joshua Molina earned overall Top Gun honors at the event with a sensational score of . . .
