Lumpkin County voters said 'no' to T-SPLOST and 'yes' to Chris Dockery and Doug Sherrill. Though results are not yet official, the totals for all seven precincts were released to a waiting crowd at the old Lumpkin County Courthouse Tuesday night. The race for Magistrate Judge and the District 2 seat of the Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners will continue until August 21, as the tally was close enough to require a run-off.

It's still too early to tell who incumbent Tim Bowden will face in the District 2 run-off since military and provisional ballots won't be counted until Friday, said officials.

Here's a look at the results:

County Commission Chairman
