The race for the magistrate judge position was decided by 281 votes as Randy Pruitt took the seat over Joy Edelberg by a count of 1,749 votes to 1,468.
In the contest for the 9th congressional district seat of Georgia, Doug Collins carried the county by edging out Martha Zoller by a total of 1,515 votes to 1,471. He also clinched a victory across the district.
These results won't be deemed official until military ballots are counted later this week.
