Bridgette Hale has been doing hair for as long as she can remember. But her specialty, she says, is coloring.
“I do a lot of multidimensional color,” she said. “It is a challenge to fit the color to the client.”
Hale is the owner of Inspiration Point Salon on East 2nd Avenue. The inside of the salon is brightly colored, with each wall a different color. There is bright art work on the walls and everyone who comes in seems to have a smile on their face.
“This is like my alter ego,” Hale says of the bright décor. “I have so many different styles I wanted this to be fun and re-laxed.”
She says she wanted her salon, which has been in its new location about a year and half, to have a homey feel.
“So many salons are modern with hard lines. I wanted something more traditional,” she said.
Hale prides herself in knowing her clients. She knows their names, she knows theirs likes and dislikes and she works her schedule to try and fit their needs.
“I cater to my clients. Some need to come in early, or come in late,” she said.
Her willingness to work with her clients has been the driv-ing force behind repeat business, Hale said.
“I have had some people come to me since I was 20-years-old,” she said.
She also spends time teaching them how to do their hair at home and what products work best for their hair type.
Inspiration Point Salon is open about four days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. Her hours can range from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. but she says she works via appointments.
The salon is located at 1225 East 2nd Avenue. So make an appointment call 706-368-9500.
