Time in a Bottle with the Reno Pops Orchestra

posted by RenoPops

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday, November 9

Nightingale Concert Hall, Church Fine Arts Building, University of Nevada, Reno, 1335 N. Virginia St., Reno, NV 89557

The time is ripe to kick off a new season with the Reno Pops Orchestra as we live in the moment and capture “Time in a Bottle.” You’ll be able to hop in a time machine controlled by Maestro Jane Brown as you travel to places past, present, and future while listening to Alan Silvestri’s “Back to the Future.” Timeless pieces such as “Autumn” from Glazunov’s ballet The Seasons, Ponchielli’s ”Dance of the Hours,” and Custer’s arrangement of “Somewhere in Time” will make you forget your troubles and the world around you.

You don’t want to be late for this very important date or you’ll miss out on the fun of travelling down the rabbit hole to the sounds of “Alice: The Wonderland Suite” from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.  Time will simply fly by as you enjoy these and many other pieces, so set your watch for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9th, and join us at Nightingale Concert Hall for the time of your life! “The Syncopated Clock” is ticking! Round up your friends and family for an evening that will entertain you from the beginning until vocalists Hannah Eckert and Michael Jackson conclude the evening with it’s “Time To Say Goodbye.”
