The Holly Theater celebrated a milestone a decade in the making last week at the Shred the Debt celebration in Hancock Park.
Board Chair Ivana Pelnar-Zaiko said the $95,000 mortgage, which was taken out in 2011 is officially paid off, thanks to funds from savings and a PPP grant through the Georgia Council for the Arts.
She emphasized that the funds raised for the recent renovations have been used only for that purpose.
"We are going to emerge with a totally renovated stage, HVAC and interior," Pelnar-Zaiko said.
Socially-distanced preview shows arrive soon with Godspell beginning May 14.
Other shows and concerts will be announced on hollytheater.com.
